Physiotropism is built to hold as little of your information as possible. Your assessment answers stay in your own browser and are never sent to us unless you deliberately create an account and save your report. We set no tracking cookies, our analytics are anonymous, and we use your email only to sign you in and to send content you ask for. We do not sell your data, ever.
Physiotropism ("we," "us," "our") is an educational and informational project operated by Care Koo, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, at physiotropism.com. This policy explains what information we handle and the choices you have. Questions or requests: [email protected].
The assessment runs entirely in your web browser. As you answer, your responses are saved only to your device (your browser's local storage) so you can complete the assessment and view your report. Your report is generated on your device from those local answers. Nothing about your answers or results is transmitted to us unless and until you choose to create an account and save your report. If you never create an account, we never receive your answers, and closing the tab clears them.

Account information (only if you create an account). Your name, email address, and country, plus a one-time numeric sign-in code we email you. We store sign-in codes and session tokens only in hashed form.
Saved reports (only if you choose to save). When you save a report to your account, we store the answers and the computed results so you can revisit them and track changes over time.
Anonymous usage analytics. We measure how the site is used — page views and which step of the assessment people reach, with timing — to improve it. These events are anonymous and cookieless, contain no persistent identifier, and never include your assessment answers.
Technical logs. Our infrastructure providers process limited technical data (such as your IP address) for short periods to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and secure sign-in. We use IP addresses transiently for rate-limiting and security, not to build a profile of you.
We do not infer any health condition, diagnosis, or clinical characteristic from your answers. The assessment measures the distance between your own stated preferences and your own description of your life. We process your answers only to generate — and, if you choose, store — your report.
We use a single, strictly-necessary cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in after you enter your emailed code. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics do not rely on cookies. Because we set no non-essential cookies, you will not see a cookie-consent banner.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract / steps taken at your request to create your account and save your report; consent to send optional content emails (withdrawable anytime); and our legitimate interests in securing the service and improving it, balanced against your rights.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising. We rely on a small set of vetted providers who process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms — such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses — as provided in our processors' data-processing agreements, together with encryption in transit and at rest.
Answers held on your device remain until you clear them or your browser does. If you create an account, we keep your account information and saved reports until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Technical logs are kept only briefly for security and reliability.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including that we do not sell or "share" personal information (we do not). To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we will verify and respond as required by law.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, store sign-in codes and session tokens only as hashes, and follow the principle of collecting as little as possible. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Physiotropism is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time; we will revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
