You have a constitution.

Most advice: ignore it. Fake it until you make it.

This asks a different question: what does it cost you to live against your nature?

There are three ways to treat your own nature.

Self-neglect(Allotropism)

  • Work hard because the world demands it
  • Neglect your socio‑, chrono‑, value‑ and sensory‑type
  • Suffer greatly, use medications when ill

Self‑care

  • Treat yourself better, especially when feeling depleted
  • Do some more yoga and eat a bit better
  • However, keep the candle burning on both sides

Self-honoring(Physiotropism)

  • Understand who you are, and respect it
  • Build a life around what you need
  • Enjoy the better mental health and success
